Alice N. McDonald (nee Lonneman), passed away into God's arms on January 27, 2014, at the age of 78. Devoted mother of Kelly (Pamela), Kathi Koesters, Karen (Tim) Rogg, Kristie Greany, Melissa Smitherman and Michael (Frank). Treasured grandmother of 16 and great-grandmother of 4. Beloved sister of Richard (Millie) Lonneman (Cincinnati) and Jean Green (Wilmington, NC). Preceded in death by her sister Betty Hurtt (Dayton, KY) and brothers Herb Lonneman (Newport, KY) and David Lonneman (Cincinnati). She held a special place in her heart for all of her nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. She was a fun and outgoing lady that loved big family gatherings, reunions will not be the same without her. Alice graduated in 1953 from Regina High School, Norwood, Ohio and was a proud member of the PHI SIGMA TAU sorority. She enjoyed 20 years working as bookkeeper for the John J and Thomas R Schiff Insurance Agency until her retirement in 1998. Family and friends will be received from 10:30 11:45 on Monday, February 10th at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 E Kemper Rd, Montgomery, Ohio where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon with interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ruth Lyon's Children's Fund, P.O. Box 59, Cincinnati, Ohio 45201.
