IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Aidan J.
O'Farrell
October 10, 1997 – January 31, 2023
Aidan James O'Farrell, beloved son of Teresa and Frank O'Farrell, and brother of Tiernan and Ryan (Clari). Born on October 10, 1997 in Cincinnati, a cherished grandson of Anne and the late Sean O'Farrell and the late Jim and Dorothea Kennedy. An innate talent with the guitar, piano and skateboard, inspiring all through music and generosity, a teacher and guide when even he did not know it. Shockingly talented with courage beyond measure. The reigning king of banter, an emissary of beauty, love and kindness. Aidan's creativity filled every room he entered, a force that could not be ignored. His music, self-taught, astonished those fortunate enough to witness it. He could sit down at a piano or pick up a guitar and demonstrate the difference between talent and experience without realizing what he was showing to the world. Aidan insisted on love. Aidan taught everyone what love meant, what love cost and how much the expression of love mattered. He taught his family and so many others how love surpasses every other emotion and feeling, how its importance exceeds all else. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 7th at Gilligan Funeral Home from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, followed by a celebration at St. Francis de Sales Church on Wednesday, February 8th at 11:00am, which will be livestreamed HERE . A reception will immediately follow at Woodburn Brewery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Skatepark Project and Lighthouse Youth & Family Services .
