Funeral Packages

Gilligan Funeral Homes offer Traditional Funeral Packages. This offering includes visitation followed by burial or cremation. Included in the packages:

• Professional services of our staff in our funeral home or the location of your choice
• Transfer of the deceased to the funeral home
• Embalming, preparation and care of deceased for viewing (private or public)
• Origination and filing of certificate of death, and necessary permits and authorizations
• Full coordination of services provided by others participating in services; i.e. church, cemetery, etc.
• Dressing, casketing, cosmetics, barbering, hairdressing
• Visitation prior to the funeral service
• Funeral or Memorial Services in your church, chosen location or in one of our chapels
• Use of our hearse on the day of the service
• A death notice on this website and a place for family and friends to electronically send you messages
• Customized full-color guestbook
• Acknowledgement Cards

A Direct Burial is the most simplistic of burial services.

• Professional services of our funeral home staff
• Transfer of the deceased to the funeral home
• Shelter / refrigeration of remains (embalming not included)
• Preparation of deceased for burial
• Origination and filing of certificate of death, necessary permits and authorizations
• Full coordination of services provided by others participating in services; i.e. clergy, cemetery, etc.
• Use of our hearse on the day of the graveside service
• Supervision of burial
• A death notice on this website and a place for family and friends to electronically send you messages
